The Szeged-Timisoara Sata Space for Smart Communities (STiDS) Project has been awarded EU funding under the Digital Europe Programme. The project aims to enhance urban mobility, environmental monitoring, and data-driven governance in the two cities, supporting their transition toward more sustainable and efficient urban environments.

The STiDS Project focuses on developing smart city solutions that leverage real-time data to optimize public transportation, reduce traffic congestion, and improve air quality monitoring. It will also establish a shared digital infrastructure to promote cross-border collaboration and data exchange between Szeged and Timisoara.

As a member of the consortium, RDE will contribute to the project by facilitating knowledge transfer, supporting the implementation of digital solutions, and ensuring the quality and interoperability of the developed systems. Our role aligns with our ongoing commitment to advancing digital innovation that delivers practical benefits to urban communities.
