RDE presented at Portfolio Financial IT 2025 in Budapest (Marriott Hotel), joining senior banking and technology stakeholders to discuss the next wave of digital transformation in financial services.

Together with Benjámin Kormos (Clarity Consulting), RDE delivered a session titled “Digital Wallets in the Financial Ecosystem – Are Mobile Apps Really the Future?” focusing on how the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet) will reshape banking by enabling trusted, verifiable customer data to move securely through processes such as KYC, lending, consent management, and automation. The discussion highlighted why “wallet-readiness” is fundamentally a data and backend capability challenge—linked to interoperable identity and emerging national platforms—rather than primarily a front-end app redesign.
