The EUDI Wallet Launchpad has started in Brussels, marking the European Commission’s first multi-day interoperability testing event dedicated to accelerating adoption of the European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet across the EU.

Hosted at SPARKS, the three-day programme combines policy direction with practical collaboration: implementer teams test wallet-to-wallet and wallet-to-service interactions, align on shared technical and UX approaches, and exchange lessons learned across countries and solution providers.

Early momentum is strong. With a large, highly engaged community in the room, the Launchpad is making the EUDI Wallet feel increasingly like a truly European effort—one that can make everyday interactions simpler and safer when delivered at scale. According to the event overview, it convened 250+ attendees and ran 420+ peer-to-peer tests across three days, underlining the shift from concept to coordinated execution.
